Zanchetti's La Busta project was born from a simple observation: a paper envelope. A structure defined by folds and cuts.

Reinterpreted in leather through the artisanal expertise of leather craftsmanship.
This is how La Busta by Zanchetti was born.
A journey of reduction to the essential,
until the bag becomes a pure object.
La Busta is entirely made in Italy from 100% leather.
It is constructed like a sheet of leather that is folded and stitched, following the logic of a paper bag.
The bag is unlined: inside, the material and all construction details remain visible.
The hand stitching is intentionally left visible both along the sides and at the handle attachments,
highlighting the artisanal craftsmanship of leatherwork.
Great attention is given to the edges, which are smoothed and dyed in mahogany. The construction appears simple at first glance, but is actually highly complex in its execution.
On the sides, a technique of internal leather skiving has been developed, allowing the bag
to fold in on itself and always return to its original shape. A unisex object, without season and without time.
The double handle allows it to be carried both by hand and over the shoulder. On the outside, there is only the heat-stamped brand with logo and “Made in Italy.”
Inside, the branding indicates the composition, the designer’s signature, and a numbered production batch.
